Download and install and use NVIDIA's for the RTX cards setting software called the NVIDIAġ.3.0.5this software is like their old NVIDIA GeForce Experience which is and as NVIDIA describes: "Staying productive while juggling multiple projects, collaborating with remote teams, and meeting tight deadlines is a challenge. "Epikaffe" that is very unfortunate that you are getting those anomalies in performance especially with such a great and expensive laptop like the AN517-52 as the Intel i7 10750H and the new RTX 3060 series GPU should be able to easily handle these games and play them fluently. As anybody's machine been performing as bad as mine? And if not, what did you do to get it working properly? Let me know please. In fact, the performance of this computer is so underwhelming that I think this machine might be faulty but nobody was able to tell me if it is or not, I can only assume stuff and with that being said this brings to the reason why I'm writing this post in the first place, that is to know about the experience of other individuals who own this exact machine or something else with very similar specs. Even when the computer is plugged in, the performance is still inconsistent albeit it is significantly higher, for example: in ARMA 3 I get 15/30 fps when it's not plugged in but when I do plug it in, I get around 80/110 fps which much better but somewhat inconsistent. And if your wondering what games I tried out to get these results, those were: ARMA 3, Verdun, Rising storm 2 Vietnam, Fallout 4, Enlisted and Quake 2 RTX, I played all of these with the graphics maxed out. When using it when it's not plugged in the performance is straight up horrible, this thing cannot handle any modern game with consistent fps, its always jumping around 60 to 30 fps sometimes dipping below that even. This machine is not that capable really, considering the how expensive it is. I didn't thought about none of that when I looking to buy this machine and as it turns out, I was scammed. but the thing is, they don't really specify important things like, what graphics settings are they using? Were these tests results achieved when the pc was plugged in or out? How consistent is the performance? Capable of running some of the latest triple A games such as, Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty Warzone, etc. I got it on curry's pc world and their page they basically say a bunch of things about how powerful the machine. ![]() So, nearly one month ago, I've acquired an acer nitro 5, model AN517-52 with these specs:
